Making Apologetics Relevant

We live in a world that has been saturated with non-Christian talking points—to the degree that they are blindly accepted without question.  We also live in a Biblically illiterate world that is negatively impacting the modern church.  Dr. William Lane Craig—arguably this generation’s apologetics2most well-known Christian apologist and philosopher, makes this observation:

“One of the most dangerous threats to young Christians is an honest question left unanswered…I’ve had multiple friends tell me that their beliefs began to crumble when they voiced sincere questions to a pastor or family member and were essentially told, ‘You just need to have more faith.’….It’s not enough anymore to just read Bible stories to our kids.  They need doctrine, and they need apologetics.”

Today’s church desperately needs apologetics!
